How to: Find a Label

Labels specify the user interface text in Microsoft Dynamics AX. Each label has a unique ID. You can search for a particular string to find whether it exists as a label, or you can search for a label ID to determine what string it represents. The following procedures explain how to search for a label string and a label ID.

To search for a label string

  1. Click Tools > Label > Label editor.

  2. Type the string you want to search for in the Find what box, then click Find now.

To search for a label ID

  1. Click Tools > Label > Label editor.

  2. Enter a label ID in the Find what box, then click Find now.

    Note

    Label IDs consist of the @ symbol followed by a three-letter layer code and a number, for example @SYS1109.
