How to: Start Report Builder 2.0 ClickOnce

SQL Server 2008 PCU1 provides the ClickOnce version of Report Builder 2.0. To start Report Builder 2.0 in native mode, users can click the Report Builder button in Report Manager or use the specified URL.

Note

The ClickOnce version of Report Builder 2.0 cannot be installed on Itanium 64-based computers. This also applies to the stand-alone version of Report Builder 2.0.

To start Report Builder in SharePoint integrated mode, users can use the New menu or the Actions menu, or point to the file then click the down arrow.

If the ClickOnce version of Report Builder that opens is Report Builder 1.0, instead of Report Builder 2.0, contact your administrator who can update Report Manager and the SharePoint to use Report Builder 2.0.

Report Builder 2.0 is also available as in stand-alone version that you install directly to your computer. For more information, see Installing Report Builder 2.0.
