You can select the fiscal calendar to use for the ledger in the Ledger form. This is the same form where you select the chart of accounts, accounting currency, and other ledger details. You must select a fiscal calendar for every legal entity. For more information, see Ledger (form).

Fiscal calendars are created in the Fiscal calendars form. There is no limit to the number of fiscal calendars that you can create, and each one can be selected by multiple legal entities. For more information about fiscal calendars and how they can be used, see About fiscal calendars, fiscal years, and periods. For more information about how to create a fiscal calendar, see Key tasks: Fiscal calendars, fiscal years, and periods.

  1. Click General ledger > Setup > Ledger.

  2. Select a fiscal calendar.

    Important

You can view the calendar that you select, and all of the fiscal years and periods that it includes, by clicking Ledger calendar. For more information, see Ledger calendar (form).
