Activate production flow (class form)

Click Production control > Setup > Lean manufacturing > Production flows. On the Versions tab, click Activation > Activate.

Use this form to activate a production flow version. When a production flow version is created and configured, it must be activated before it can be used in production or replenishment activities. As a prerequisite step to activation, the production flow version is validated to make sure that the production flow activities are configured correctly. When the production flow version is validated successfully, it becomes activated.

The activate function is only available when an inactive production flow version is selected on the Versions tab. You can set up synchronous processing or batch group processing of production flow versions. Warnings and error messages are displayed in an Infolog.

Only one version of a production flow can be active at a given time. There can be multiple versions that are activated, but the validity dates cannot overlap.
