Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012
Click Human resources > Setup > Organization > Job types.
Use this form to classify job types. You can assign job types to jobs and then use job types together with job functions to filter compensation plans to specific jobs.
To associate job types and job functions with compensation plans, set up eligibility rules in the Eligibility rules form. You can also add a set of levels to the compensation plan that apply to the specific job type/job function combination that you have defined through an eligibility rule. Job types and eligibility rules apply to both fixed and variable compensation plans.
