Click Compliance and internal controls > Common > Environmental sustainability > Meters.

Use this form to define new meters or to activate or inactivate existing meters. You can use meters to track both incoming and outgoing substance flows.

The following tables provide descriptions for the controls in this form.

Tabs

Tab	Description
Details	View or add information about the selected meter.
Entry interval	View or enter information about meter entry intervals.

Buttons

Button	Description
Meter readings	Open the Meter readings form.
Assignments	Open the Assignments form.

Fields

Field	Description
Meter ID	The unique identifier for the meter.
Substance	Select the substance that the meter tracks.
Source process	Select the source of the substance flow. For example, where a raw material that is used in your plant comes from.
Destination process	Select the destination of the substance flow. For example, where the waste produced from a specific material that is used in your plant will go.
Active	Select this check box if the meter is active.
Meter type	Select Verification if you are using the meter for auditing purposes and not directly for reporting.
Description	Enter a brief description of the meter.
Unit	The unit of measure for the substance that the meter is tracking.
Frequency	Enter how frequently the data from meter readings is recorded. For example, if you enter 2 in the Frequency field and select Month in the Interval field, the data is recorded every two months.
Interval	Select the interval that you want to use for meter readings.
