Substance flows (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 Feature Pack, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012

Click Compliance and internal controls > Setup > Environmental sustainability > Substances. Select the substance for which you want to view or modify the flow, and then click Substance flow details.

Use this form to view and modify the flow of substances between processes and to manually record accidental substance flows.

Source process

Select the source process of the substance flow.

Destination process

Select the destination process of the substance flow.

Substance

Select the substance.

Quantity

Enter the quantity of the substance flow.

Units

Select the unit of measure for the substance flow.

Start date/time

The start date and time of the period in which the substance was consumed.

End date/time

The end date and time of the period in which the substance was consumed.

Flow ID

The identifier for the substance flow.

Flow origin

The starting point of the substance flow. The origin indicates how the process was created. For example, by an invoice, a meter, or a calculated conversion.

Scope

Select the scope of the substance flow as it relates to your organization. The scope defines the amount of control that your organization has over the process that created the flow.

Completed

This check box is selected if the substance flow has been analyzed in the conversion calculation process.

Is accidental

Select this check box if the substance flow is accidental.

Equity share percent

The percentage value from the related process record. This percentage is multiplied into a base value of 1 on all substance flows.

Amount

The original cost or value of the substance flow.

Transaction currency

The currency that is used in the financial transaction that this substance flow is related to.

Date

The date on which the financial transaction that this substance flow is related to occurred.

Source flow ID

The identifier for the source flow that the conversion system used to create this flow.

Purchase order

The purchase order that includes items that use the substance.

Invoice

The identifier for the invoice register journal voucher line in which you entered the substance flow information.

Meter ID

The identification of the meter that is tracking the substance.

Conversion ID

The identification of the conversion that created the substance flow.
