About database logs

Use the Database logs page to view and filter data from the database log, which is a list of who made changes to the database, and when the changes were made. The view is sorted by table name and shows a description of the record, type of change, created time, created date and time, user who created the record, current value, and previous value. You can select a range of dates for which to view information.

View database log information

  1. Click Compliance on the top link bar, and then click Database logs on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Database logs page, click the Advanced filter icon.

  3. Select a field and operator, and enter a condition. For information about how to use filters, see Use list filters.

  4. Click Apply filter.

Export filtered data to Excel

  1. Click Compliance on the top link bar, and then click Database logs on the Quick Launch.

  2. On the Action Pane, in the List group, click Export to Microsoft Excel.

Troubleshoot database logs

I cannot see any database information

Database logs must be set up in the Microsoft Dynamics AX client.
