Use the Import main accounts form to import main account information into a chart of accounts. To import new or updated general ledger accounts, you must first download the template that contains the general ledger accounts. During the import process, Microsoft Dynamics AX verifies whether the account number already exists in the chart of accounts. If you import an account that already exists in the chart of accounts, the import process ends.
