Consolidation account groups (form)

Applies To: Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2

Click General ledger > Setup > Chart of accounts > Consolidation account groups.

When you use a consolidation account for consolidation, you can report on financial information by using a statutory account number. Some organizations have legal entities in multiple countries/regions. Some of those legal entities might be required to report information to local governments by using a government-mandated chart of accounts. For example, you can create a consolidation account group to represent a French statutory chart of accounts that an organization must use to report information.

Use this form to create consolidation account groups. A consolidation account is a main account in the parent legal entity, which is the legal entity that is used for ledger consolidation. The parent legal entity is also known as the consolidated legal entity. You can create groups of consolidation accounts. These consolidation account groups can then be used to represent another chart of accounts, such as a government-mandated chart of accounts. Consolidation account groups can be shared between legal entities.
