This session discusses update management. We will analyze the business case for update management, the vulnerability timeline, and demonstrate how the timeline gets shorter with every new vulnerability discovered. We will examine the severity ratings that are attributed to vulnerabilities, what the various levels mean, and the ways that Microsoft has improved the updating experience to make it as straightforward as possible. We will explore the various update management solution components, and see how they work, along with some demonstrations.
