This session is an in-depth look at the MOM features from an IT pro’s perspective. We will look at the MOM architecture, focusing on the components that make up the product. We will examine the monitoring components of MOM, and look at how to use the various interfaces to create rules and monitor the environment. We will look at management packs and tasks, to see how MOM 2005 adds a reactive capability to monitoring systems. Finally, we will see the reports MOM produces and the information those reports provide.
