Map Polygon Properties Dialog Box, General
Select General on the Map Polygon Properties dialog box to change label and tooltip options for all dynamic or embedded polygons on a polygon layer. Color rules and width rules for polygons override these options.
To override options for a specific embedded polygon, use options on the Map Embedded Polygon Properties Dialog Box, General page.

Options
Label text
Select the field from the map dataset to use for labels.Visibility
Select this option to show or hide labels. The default is Auto. Auto indicates that the report processor automatically determines whether to show the label based on display options for the layer.Tooltip
Type a label or expression for the tooltip to be displayed when the mouse is hovered over a polygon shape.
