Click General ledger > Setup > Translation > Dimension groups.

Use this form to create rules for financial dimension code conversion from the source company to the financial dimension of the target company.

Navigating the form

The following table provides descriptions for the controls in this form.

Field	Description
Rule group	Select the translation group for which dimension conversion rules are set up.
Dimension group	Enter a unique dimension group code.
To company	The code of the target company for transactions during translation.
Description	Enter a text description of the dimension group.
Dimension	Select the dimension type for the source company for which the conversion rule is configured.
From dimension code	Select the first value for the interval to set the dimension value interval.
To dimension code	Select the last value for the interval to set the dimension value interval.
Conversion method	Select the rule to use to convert the translated transaction for the source company, from the following options: No changes – The current dimension is transferred with no changes. Company code – The current dimension is changed to the source company code. Value – The current dimension is replaced with the given value. Customer/Vendor – The current dimension is replaced with the customer/vendor code.
To dimension	Select the dimension type for the target company, into which the values are transferred.
To dimension code	Select the target dimension code into which the source company transaction dimension is moved during translation. Poznámka This field is activated if you select Value in the Conversion method field.
