Launched in June 2013, the Microsoft Bounty Programs pay researchers for novel exploitation techniques in Microsoft’s latest platform, defensive ideas that mitigate their novel exploitation technique, and critical vulnerabilities in specific Microsoft software. These programs are designed to harness the collective intelligence and capabilities of security researchers to help protect customers.
