Firewall Rule Properties - Advanced

This view shows the following information for an inbound or outbound firewall rule that is being applied to this computer:

  • Authorized users This is a list of the users or groups of users authorized by this rule.

  • Authorized computers This is a list of the computers or group of computers authorized by this rule.

  • Interface types This is a list of the network interface types to which this rule applies (for example, Local Area Network, Remote Access, Wireless, or All interface types).

  • Edge traversal This indicates whether edge traversal is enabled (Yes) or disabled (No). When edge traversal is enabled, the application, service, or port to which the rule applies is globally addressable and accessible from outside a network address translation (NAT) or edge device.
