RD Gateway Migration: Verifying the Migration

Applies To: Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2

Verify the migration of the RD Gateway settings by connecting to a computer with a user account that uses the Remote Desktop connection authorization policies (RD CAPs) and Remote Desktop resource authorization policies (RD RAPs) that you migrated.

Verifying the migration of RD Gateway policy and configuration settings

To verify that the imported settings are working correctly, connect through the RD Gateway server by using a user account and a computer account that uses the RD CAPs, and RD RAPs, that were migrated. For more information about selecting the appropriate user account and computer account, see Understanding Authorization Policies for Remote Desktop Gateway (https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=188184).
