%1: MSExchangeTransport has detected a critical storage error and will now stop. The service attempted to update the registry key (%2) used to initiate automated recovery but failed with the following error: %3. Please make sure Network Service has Full Control to this registry key.

Explanation

This Warning event occurs if the MSExchangeTransport service found a critical storage error and has stopped because of insufficient permission to update the registry.

Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 uses service resource management to detect and take action on heavily loaded Exchange servers. When a system is under heavy load, more load should not be added. Exchange 2010 servers that have either the Hub Transport server role or the Edge Transport server roles installed have several minimum resource requirements that must be maintained. Thresholds for different resources are managed by the Microsoft Exchange Transport service (MSExchangeTransport.exe).
