Explanation

This Warning event indicates that an invalid attribute was registered by the provider DLL with the Microsoft Exchange Autodiscover service on the Exchange Client Access server. When a provider registers with the Autodiscover service, the provider must declare certain attributes such as a GUID, request schema, and response schema. If the provider file has specified an invalid attribute to the Autodiscover service, the event is logged.

GUIDs identify objects such as interfaces, manager entry-point vectors (EPVs), and class objects. A GUID is a 128-bit value that consists of one group of 8 hexadecimal digits, followed by three groups of 4 hexadecimal digits each, and followed by one group of 12 hexadecimal digits. The following sample GUID shows the groupings of hexadecimal digits in a GUID: 6B29FC40-CA47-1067-B31D-00DD010662DA.

To resolve this warning, take one or more of the following steps:

• Look at the Application log for a detailed description of the event.
