Process %1 (PID=%2). The recipient full sync page token for tenant '%3' has been cleared from storage. |
Explanation
This Information event indicates that the full synchronization token that was saved for a recipient has been removed from the storage space.
Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 edge synchronization operates in two modes: either full synchronization mode or delta sync mode.
In full synchronization mode, the Edge Sync on the hub server reads the full set of data from Edge server Active Directory Application Mode (ADAM), and then puts the data into a target cache. The hub server then reads the same set of data from the source domain. If an object exists both in the source and in the target but differs in content in each, Edge Sync updates the existing object in the target edge server. For each target object that it examines, Edge Sync marks the target cache. Therefore, at the end of the iteration, any target object that is not marked existed only in the target. Edge Sync then deletes the object from the target edge server.
EdgeSync performs a full sync only in the following scenarios:
- During initial sync after subscription
- During periodic full sync to keep data sanitized (one time per day up to one time per week based on actual operation); full synchronization is initialized by using the Start-Edgesynchronization task
- Because, for various reasons, a cookie is not updated in a long time (more than 21 days)
