Explanation

This Error event indicates that a non-SMTP address space was detected on the indicated DNS SMTP connector in the referenced routing table. Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 will not use this connector to route to the address space. A non-delivery report (NDR) will be sent for the message, or the message will be routed to another connector. Exchange 2010 tasks block this configuration. However, the connector may have been set up by Exchange Server 2003.

User Action

To resolve this error, do the following:

• Verify the connector configuration. Routing to a non-SMTP address space must use a connector that is set up to use a smart host for routing, a foreign connector, or a connector that is homed on a server that is running Exchange 2003.
