Explanation

This Error event indicates that the offline address book (OAB) manifest file (oab.xml) is corrupted and cannot be synchronized with an Exchange server that is running the Client Access server role. The OAB manifest file contains OAB entries. It is generated on an Exchange server that is running the Mailbox server role. The Microsoft Exchange File Distribution service that is running on the Client Access server replicates this file from the Mailbox server to the Client Access server every eight hours.

User Action

To resolve this error, regenerate the OAB file set that is specified in the event description. To do this, run the following Exchange Management Shell command from the Exchange server that logged this event:

Update-OfflineAddressBook -Identity <offline address book identifier>
