To test and preview a dashboard in PerformancePoint Services in Microsoft SharePoint Server 2010, you must edit the deployment properties to direct the dashboard to the location of your choice.

In Microsoft Office PerformancePoint Server 2007, there is an option to preview a dashboard before you deploy it to the SharePoint production environment. In PerformancePoint-Dienste, the preview option is not available. To test and preview a dashboard before publishing to a production environment, follow these steps to edit the location of where the dashboard is deployed.

Steps to deploy a dashboard to a test environment

For instruction on how to create PerformancePoint-Dienste dashboards, see Planen, Entwerfen und Implementieren eines PerformancePoint-Dashboards zur Darstellung der Leistung der Organisation. When you are ready to deploy a dashboard, follow these steps. The dashboards are .aspx pages. Standard contributor-level permissions in SharePoint Server are not enough to successfully create ASPX pages. Your account must have at least Design-level permissions on the SharePoint Server site that has the account that is deploying the dashboard.
