KDS Cmdlets in Windows PowerShell

Key Distribution Service (KDS)

cmdlet Description

Add-KdsRootKey

Generates a new root key for the Microsoft Group Key Distribution Service (KdsSvc) within Active Directory (AD).

Clear-KdsCache

Clears the group key cache of the local computer.

Get-KdsConfiguration

Retrieves the current configuration of the Microsoft Group Key Distribution Service (KdsSvc) from Active Directory (AD).

Get-KdsRootKey

Retrieves a list of root key values stored by the Microsoft Group Key Distribution Service (KdsSvc).

Set-KdsConfiguration

Sets the configuration of Microsoft Group Key Distribution Service (KdsSvc).

Test-KdsRootKey

Tests the root key configuration.
