How to Enable and Disable Rollbacks

For the latest version of Commerce Server 2007 Help, see the Microsoft Web site.

This topic provides steps for enabling and disabling rollbacks in Commerce Server Staging (CSS). This setting is a global setting at the server level that affects all the projects on a Commerce Server computer. Although you can rollback individual projects, you cannot enable and disable rollbacks for individual projects (only at the server level).

Rollbacks only apply to Web content projects. CSS does not support rollbacks of Business Data projects.

To enable and disable rollbacks

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Commerce Server Staging.

  2. In the Commerce Server Staging console, in the left pane, expand Commerce Server Staging, right-click <server name>, and then click Properties.

  3. In the Commerce Server Staging <server name> Properties dialog box, on the Advanced tab, select the Enable rollback and transactions check box to enable rollbacks (or clear the check box to disable rollbacks), and then click OK.
