How to Delete Information by Using the Catalog Manager

If the following items are no longer valid for your Web site, you can delete them by using Commerce Server Catalog Manager:

  • Catalogs, categories, and products.

  • Virtual catalogs, categories, and products.

  • Catalog sets.

  • Inventory catalogs.

To delete catalogs, virtual catalogs, categories, and products

  1. Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Catalog Manager.

  2. In Commerce Server Catalog Manager, in the Views pane, click the node that contains the item you want to delete (Catalogs, CatalogSets, or InventoryCatalogs).

  3. In the <Item> pane, select the item that you want to delete.

  4. In the Tasks pane, click Delete this <Item>.

    - or -

    Click Delete Inventory Catalog if you want to delete an inventory catalog.

  5. In the Catalog Manager dialog box, click OK.
