How to Delete Information by Using the Catalog and Inventory Schema Manager

For the latest version of Commerce Server 2007 Help, see the Microsoft Web site.

When a category, product, or property definition is no longer valid, you can delete it by using the Catalog and Inventory Schema Manager.

To delete a category, product, or property definition

  1. Click Start, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2007 , and then click Catalog and Inventory Schema Manager.

  2. In Commerce Server Catalog and Inventory Schema Manager, in the Views pane, click the definition type that you want to delete (Category Definitions, Product Definitions, or Property Definitions).

  3. In the <Category, Product, or Property> Definitions pane, click the definition that you want to delete.

  4. In the Task pane, click Delete Definition (or click Delete Property if you are deleting a property definition).

  5. In the Delete Definition dialog box (or Delete Property dialog box if you are deleting a property), click OK.

Commerce Server deletes the definition and updates the Definition Name list in the Definitions pane.
