Working With the Store Locator Web Part

The Store Locator Web Part provides shoppers with a tool to find a store according to a specific location, either by Zip or Postal Code, or country, state, province or city.

The shopper enters in their address, ZIP code or postal code and clicks Search. The Store Locator Web Part will list all of the store locations in the area defined by the Search Radius property. The shopper then selects a store location from the list, and clicks on Get driving directions. Directions to the store location will be provided based on the address, ZIP code or postal code first entered for the search.

Note

The Store Locator Web part will be in Staging mode when it is first installed. You must get a Production account for the Virtual Earth service and reconfigure the Web Part to set up the Production environment for the site. Please see Store Locator Web Part for more information on setting up a Production environment.
