Import Execution Options Page

Use the Import Execution Options page to name the import package you are creating using the Data Warehouse Import Wizard, and to specify when the package should run. Select one or both of the following options.

Use this

To do this

Run the import immediately

Select this option to cause the import to run immediately on the current computer after you complete the Data Warehouse Import Wizard.

Commerce Server only saves the package when you select Save the import configuration to SQL Server.

Save the import configuration to SQL Server

Select this option to save the import configuration information. We recommend this option if you want to customize the import package, for example, to change the start date for importing profile data, or if you want to run the import process later.

Dd464500.alert_note(en-US,CS.90).gifNote:
Commerce Server saves the package to the local SQL Server. Make sure your SQL Server is running. If SQL Enterprise Manager opens or SQL Server Management Studio opens when you run the wizard, you must right-click Local Packages, and then click Refresh to display the new package.

For information about how to run the import package manually later, see How to Run an Import DTS Package.
