Choosing recommended or custom settings on your handheld device

When you're setting up your handheld device, we ask you if you want to use the Recommended settings or Custom settings. If you choose the Recommended settings, the following features will be enabled:

  • Cellular data

  • Windows Embedded 8 Handheld Feedback

  • Keyboard typing and user experience improvements

  • Sending Wi-Fi connection information

  • Automatic updates
