Creating a Channel on the Destination Server

A channel is a set of properties that you can use to provide BizTalk Server 2000 with the rules for processing a document that it receives. After a channel has processed a document, it is passed to its associated messaging port or distribution list to be transported to the specified destination. You can create one or more channels for a messaging port or distribution list.

The destination BizTalk Server is the vendor.
