Changing the Data Warehouse Password

If you change the password for your SQL Server computer, you must also change the password in the Commerce Server Data Warehouse and the connection strings for all resources.

To change the Data Warehouse password

  1. Click Start, point to Programs, point to Microsoft Commerce Server 2000, and then click Commerce Server Manager.

  2. In the Commerce Server Manager console, expand Global Resources, right-click the Data Warehouse for which you want to change the password, and then click Properties.

  3. In the Data Warehouse Properties dialog box, click the Connection tab.

  4. On the Connection tab, in the Password box, type the new password, and then click OK.
