Preparing to Use the Tutorial

Your system administrator needs to perform a few preparatory tasks before you begin the tutorial. After these tasks are completed, you can proceed to the Business-to-Consumer Tutorial, Lab 1.

Note

• Prior to performing the steps listed below, you must install Commerce Server using the instructions in the Commerce Server 2002 Installation Guide, for a single computer installation. It is not recommended that you install the tutorial on a computer that is running Commerce Server in a production environment.

The system administrator must first perform the following tasks:

• Unpack the Retail Site for the Tutorial
• Copy Image Files to Your Site for the Tutorial
• Access Data Sources Across Domains for the Tutorial
