Step 3: Execute the Package and Check for Errors

In this step, you will run the package and verify that all of the tasks run correctly.

  1. Expand Microsoft SQL Servers, expand SQL Server Group, and then expand the server on which your Data Warehouse is installed.

  2. Expand Data Transformation Services, and then click Local Packages.

  3. Right-click your package, and then click Execute Package.

  4. Check the Executing Package dialog box for failed tasks.

    • If any of your tasks failed, an error message will appear. Click OK to close the error message.

  5. Click Done to close the Executing Package dialog box.
