Profiling System: Active Directory Data Source
The following table shows the options and functions available on the Profiling System: Active Directory Data Source dialog box.
| Use this | To do this |
| Domain | Type the Windows domain that contains your site. |
| User name | Type a valid Windows domain user name. You must type the user name in one of these formats:
domain\username username@domain |
| Password | Type the domain password for the specified user. |
| Parent URL | Type the location in the directory tree where you want your data to be stored. |
| Use Simple Bind | Select to send the password in clear text. This option is less secure, but is required by some directory services. |
| Execution Script | Execute Visual Basic scripts for creating objects in the directory tree pertaining to this site. |
| Test Connection | Test the validity of the connection to the domain controller. |
