Configuration Files
A set of Extensible Markup Language (XML) configuration files, the master configuration file and a number of module configuration files, are used to inform the Business Desk Framework about a number of different aspects of the modules that are included in a particular instance of Business Desk. At the highest level, each module uses this mechanism to specify information such as the category to which it belongs, the action pages it includes, and the tasks that are available on each of those action pages. At lower levels, a wide variety of additional information is specified in each of these configuration files.
