Using Commerce Server Manager

Commerce Server Manager is a tool that you use to manage and configure Commerce Server 2000 resources, sites, applications, and Web servers. The Microsoft Management Console (MMC), a Windows-based interface that is included in Microsoft Windows 2000, hosts Commerce Server Manager.

The functionality in Commerce Server Manager is not available through either Web-based or command line administration. Instead, most of this functionality is accessed and manipulated through Component Object Model (COM) objects, so it is possible for you to write a Windows Script Host (WSH) script or an Active Server Pages (ASP) page to extend the administration environment.

To access Commerce Server Manager

  • Click Start, point to Programs, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Commerce Server Manager.
