Listing Analysis Models and Model Configurations in an External Database

  1. Expand Commerce Server Manager, expand Global Resources, right-click Predictor on <server name>, and then click Properties.
  2. In the Predictor on <server name> Properties dialog box, on the Properties tab, in the Properties box, select Use external database.
  3. In the Selected property value box, set the property to -1 (True).

The Predictor resource will list models and model configurations from an external database, in addition to those in the Data Warehouse, in the Commerce Server Manager console. (Models and model configurations in the Commerce Server Data Warehouse are always listed.)

After you have set this property, you must set a connection to the external database.
