Business Desk Does Not Install

Description

When you attempt to connect to the Business Desk Web site to install the Business Desk client, the following message may appear.

Solution

To install Business Desk, you must enable the Microsoft ActiveX controls.

To continue the Business Desk Setup

  1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools, and then click Internet Options.

  2. In the Security tab, click Custom Level.

  3. Select Local intranet zone and click Custom level.

  4. In the ActiveX controls and plug-ins box, enable Download signed Active X controls.

  5. Click OK, click Apply, and then click OK again.

  6. Click Refresh on the toolbar, and then continue installing the Business Desk by typing the URL for Business Desk into the browser window. For example, http://<servername>/myretailbizdesk.
