Programming Opportunities
You have two programming opportunities available to you through Commerce Server. You can use the existing features and capabilities of Commerce Server to build Web sites, or you can extend the Commerce Server platform.
Extending the Commerce Server platform includes creating new components and resources that are general purpose in nature. You can market these components and resources to companies that are using Commerce Server to create their Web sites.
