Duplicate Profiles global resources

If you delete a site, and then add a new site using the same .pup package file that was used to create the deleted site, two Profiles global resources exist in Commerce Server Manager.

Solution

You must manually remove the original Profiles global resource from Commerce Server Manager.

To remove the Profiles global resource

  1. Expand Commerce Server Manager, expand Global Resources, right-click the Profiles resource you want to delete, and then click Delete.
  2. In the Commerce Server Manager dialog box, click Yes to confirm the deletion of the resource.

The original resource is permanently deleted.
