Report Tables

This section contains information about the reporting schema and the report tables used in the Data Warehouse. This section also contains a table that describes report table usage by report type.

The following figure identifies the report tables and their relations. Each table is described in the subsequent sections.

Reporting Schema

 Report Tables

This section contains:

  • Report Table. Describes the attributes used in the main report definition table.
  • ReportDimension Table. Describes the attributes used to add a dimension to a report.
  • ReportInstanceDbObject Table. Describes instances of database objects created for use in a static report.
  • ReportInstanceParam Table. Describes the attributes used to store the parameters entered through the user interface for use in query expressions.
  • ReportParam Table. Describes the attributes used to add a parameterized query expression to a static report.
  • ReportStatus Table. Describes the attributes used to supply status information about a static report.
  • GroupReportDbObject Table. Describes the temporary objects created during grouped report generation.
  • GroupReportJob Table. Describes the attributes used to track the grouped report jobs that have been run.
  • GroupReportStatus Table. Describes the attributes used to keep track of the individual reports that have been generated when a grouped report is run.
  • CubeProcInfo Table. Describes the attributes used by the Report preparation DTS task to process cubes.
  • CubePartitionInfo Table. Describes the attributes used track the processing state of data within the cube.
  • DimProcInfo Table. Describes the attributes used by the Report preparation DTS task to process shared dimensions.
  • StoredProcInfo Table. Describes the attributes used by the Report preparation DTS task to run stored procedures.
  • ReportPreExec Table. Describes the attributes used by the Report caching DTS task to run OLAP reports.
  • Table Usage by Report Type. Describes report table usage by report type.
