Editing Multiple Organizations

You use the Organizations module to edit the profiles of multiple organizations. When you edit multiple organization profiles, you make the same edits to all of the organization profiles that you are editing.

To edit multiple organization profiles

  1. In Users, click Organizations.

  2. In the Organizations screen, select the organization profiles you want to edit, and then click Ee825387.open(en-US,CS.10).gif on the toolbar.

  3. In the Update <number> Organizations screen, do the following:

    Use this To do this
    New Form a new Update Query. You use an update query to change the value of a property in multiple user profiles.
    First drop-down list (left) Select the property that contains the information you want to edit, from the drop-down list.
    Second drop-down list (center) Select the condition for the edit.
    Third drop-down list (right) Type or select the new value for the property. The property type of the property you selected in the first box determines the way that you will enter the change for that property. For example, if the property you select is of type string, you will type the string you are searching for in the third box.
  4. To save your edits and return to the Organizations screen, click Save and go back on the toolbar.

The organization profiles are saved with the new data.
