Importing User Profiles

You can import user profile data from external systems using the following methods:

Attach user profile information to existing data. This can be done using the aggregation feature of the Profiling System. Using this option you would treat the existing data as any other datasource.
Import the data into the Commerce Server Profiling System. The Profiling System provides an OLE DB interface that you can access using ActiveX Data objects (ADO) and perform simple SQL statements such as insert, update, delete, and select.
