NumericPrecision Property

This feature will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using this feature in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use this feature.

The NumericPrecision property specifies the maximum number of digits in a fixed-precision, numeric data type.

Syntax

.NumericPrecision [= value]

    An expression that evaluates to an object in the Applies To list
  • value
    A long integer value from 1 through the value of the MaximumLength property (as returned by the SystemDatatype object referencing the base data type of the column or user-defined data type)
