Change or Remove Instance
Use the Change or Remove Instance page of the Microsoft SQL Server Installation Wizard to choose whether to maintain or remove an existing instance of SQL Server. Maintenance options are provided through Add or Remove Programs in Control Panel.
Options
- Change Installed Features
Use this option to add features to or remove features from the selected instance of SQL Server.
- Remove Microsoft SQL Server
Select this option to remove the SQL Server installation from your computer.
Note
In this release, the maintenance of failover clusters is available only by using Add or Remove Programs.
