How to: Select a Cube (Report Designer)
You can use a cube data structure from a Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services data source in a report. To select a cube for a report, you must first define a dataset that specifies the Analysis Services data source you want to use.
To select a cube
In Data view, in MDX Query Designer, click the cube selection (...) button.
Note
The cube selection button is located to the right of the cube name in the upper left corner of the query designer.
In Cube Selection, select the cube that you want to use in your query and then click OK.
