Model Properties (Shared Data Source Page)
Use this page to view the name of the shared data source item that specifies data source connection for this model. You can also use this page to select a different data source. To view the data source type or connection string, you must navigate to the shared data source and open the property pages.
Options
- Name
Specifies the name of the shared data source item, as it appears in Object Explorer and in Report Manager.
- Shared data source
Shows the folder path to the shared data source. To choose a different data source, click the Browse button. You must specify a data source that has the same data source type and schema as the one used to create the model.
- Regenerate the model when this page is saved
Select this check box if you want to replace the model with a regenerated version. For more information, see Generating Models Using Report Management Tools.
