To change the default virtual machine configuration folder

  1. Open the Administration Website.
  2. In the navigation pane, under Virtual Server, click Server Properties, and then in the lower section of the page click Search paths.
  3. In Default virtual machine configuration folder, type the fully qualified path to the folder where you want virtual machines to be created by default, and then click OK.

Note

To perform this procedure, you must have the appropriate permissions. If you do not have the appropriate permissions, you will either receive an error message or you will not be able to view certain menu items and options described in this procedure.
