Discontinued Management Tools Features in SQL Server 2008
This topic describes SQL Server Management Tools features that are no longer available in SQL Server 2008.

Surface Area Configuration Tool
The Surface Area Configuration tool (SAC) for SQL Server has been removed from SQL Server 2008. For more information about replacement functionality, see Discontinued SQL Server Features in SQL Server 2008.
Web Assistant Procedure Option
The Web Assistant Procedure option and the sp_configure option for enabling the Web Assistant have been removed from SQL Server 2008.
